Our vision for Word Women comes from Colossians 2:2-3, “that their hearts may be encouraged, having been knit together in love, and attaining to all the wealth that comes from the full assurance of understanding, resulting in a true knowledge of God’s mystery, that is, Christ Himself, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.”

Paul goes on to say in Colossians that the reason for this is so that no one would take us captive with smooth talk and empty promises. This world will try to squeeze you into its mold, promising happiness but often only bringing heartache and disappointment.  We are created to run this race together, to be captivated by Christ, to encourage one another during the hard times and rejoice with each other during life’s great moments. We offer a safe, welcoming environment for women to come together, to share one another’s burdens and strengthen each other through the Word and prayer.
