Jamar Andrews
Lead Pastor
Pastor Jamar Andrews is a native of Jonesboro, AR. He is married to Stephanie, and they have two children, Eva and Elliot. He has a Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communication from Arkansas State University, and completed a Master of Arts from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He enjoys spending time with his family, coaching sports, and fishing. He has a passion to see lives transformed, and the world reached with the gospel of Jesus Christ.

My wife Tracy and I married in 2015. We have 3 children who get most of our time and attention. I have been attending Word since 2013 when I became a Christian. I have served on staff since 2016. I received my graduate degree from Arkansas State University in Math Education. I then went to Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary for graduate school completing the Master of Divinity program in 2020. I enjoy playing and watching sports, hunting, and traveling.
