January 1 - 21

As we begin the new year, we invite our church family to join us for 21 Days of Prayer & Fasting. This intentional season is a time to slow down, seek God first, and realign our hearts with His will through prayer, fasting, and Scripture.

This journey is for everyone—whether you’ve participated before or this is your first time. Our desire is that each person would experience spiritual renewal, deeper dependence on God, and greater clarity as we start the year together.

What is Prayer and Fasting?

Prayer is simply talking with God and listening for His guidance. During these 21 days, we encourage you to set aside intentional time each day to pray—bringing your needs, praises, and requests before the Lord.

Fasting is choosing to give up something (such as a meal, certain foods, or another regular habit) for a period of time in order to focus more fully on God. Fasting helps create space for prayer, humility, and spiritual focus.

What to Expect During the 21 Days?

Throughout this season, participants are encouraged to:
  • Pray daily, using Scripture to guide your prayer time
  • Commit to a personal fast as you feel led
  • Read along with the provided resources
  • Engage individually or as a family
  • Expect God to work in and through your life

There is no “one-size-fits-all” approach. Participate at a pace and level that is meaningful and prayerful for you.

Daily Resources

We’ve created resources to help guide you throughout the 21 days:
  • Adult Prayer Guide PDFs
  • Kids & Family Prayer Guide PDFs

Each day includes Scripture, a prayer focus, a short explanation, and an application or activity to help you live out what you’re learning.

For Families and Kids

Prayer and fasting aren’t just for adults. Our kids’ resources are designed to help children understand prayer and fasting in age-appropriate ways, with daily readings, simple explanations, discussion questions, and family activities.

Families are encouraged to walk through this season together, talking about what God is teaching each of you.

Book Resource

We are using The 21 Most Effective Prayers in the Bible as a helpful resource during this season.
  • If you preordered a copy, your book is available for pickup.
  • We have four additional copies available for purchase.
  • Anyone who has preordered or purchases one of the extra copies may pick up their book by reaching out to a staff member.

If you do not have a copy, you are still welcome to participate fully. We will also provide a link to the book if you would like to purchase your own copy independently.

Join Us

We believe God moves when His people seek Him together. As we commit these first 21 days of the year to prayer and fasting, we look forward to seeing how God works in our church, our families, and our hearts.

We’re so glad you’re joining us on this journey.

Stay Connected Daily

We’ll be sharing the daily verse and prayer throughout the 21 Days of Prayer & Fasting on our social media stories. Whether you have the book or not, this is a simple way to stay encouraged and engaged each day as we seek the Lord together.

Reading Plan

For our 21 Days of Prayer & Fasting, we chose The 21 Most Effective Prayers in the Bible because it grounds our prayer life firmly in God’s Word. As Christians, prayer is not just something we do—it’s how we commune with God, align our hearts with His will, and grow in trust and dependence on Him. This book walks us through prayers found in Scripture, reminding us that God has always invited His people to call on Him with faith, honesty, and expectancy.

By praying the prayers of the Bible, we’re learning not only what to pray, but how to pray—anchored in God’s promises and shaped by His truth. As a church, it’s important to us that our prayers are rooted in Scripture and that we grow together in confidence, humility, and reliance on the Lord.
